This just took me to a page full of other people wanting to go back to classic.
Sincerely thank you. I was not (not) comfortable with mail plus.
I finally got back to classic but it is corrupted. When you want to send a message your e mail addresses don’t drop down, so unless you can remember EVERY e mail address you are knackered.
When you do send e mails it does not inform you that the mail has gone so you have to go into your sent folder to check it has gone.
Thanks a bunch Yahoo, I am now changing to a different mail server.
it took me to the yahoo classic page but it doesnt save. how do i get it to stay on it ?
I believe you have to paste into your address bar every time.
There is a way to get on and stay on, but read my comments above, the classic mail site is corrupted.
However here is how to get back to classic permanently if you still want to.
Go to your control panel and click on internet options.
Click security.
Click custom level.
Find scripting then active scripting and disable it.
Click ok on both tabs
Go back to your home page and type in YAHOO CLASSIC MAIL.
It will take you right there, but as I said it is corrupted I don’t think Yahoo have any intentions of letting us use the old mail, don’t ask me why……..

Sorry, it stayed when I did it, but as I said I don’t think Yahoo have any intention of letting people go back to classic.
I’ve made the link my homepage as a temporary fix. At least I can get to my e-mail easily that way.
